I love brand strategy.

I identify insights and data, understand the consumers, find the opportunities and tell the story people want.

Hi, I’m Mina Rani Paul. I’m a New York City native studying Economics with a minor in Marketing at Fordham University, with a particular interest in brand strategy, consumer behavior, and the worlds of beauty, fashion, and media.

I’m fascinated by what makes a brand work—and what happens when it stops working. I like looking beyond whether a campaign or product was simply “successful” or “unsuccessful” to understand why. Who is the brand really speaking to? What does its loyal consumer base value? Has it lost relevance with a certain audience? And how can a brand reignite that interest without abandoning the identity that made people care about it in the first place?

That curiosity extends to the creative side of marketing. I love the storytelling behind a great campaign and the intentional decisions that bring it together—from the positioning and copy to the casting, photography, visual direction, and smallest details of the final execution. To me, each element contributes to how a consumer understands and feels about a brand.

I want to be part of that process: identifying the insight, understanding the consumer, finding the opportunity, and helping turn it into a story people actually want to engage with.
